Review Awaken: Chaos Era
Awaken: Chaos Era is a role-playing game that combines exploration and turn-based combat in a battle between good and evil. You will play a very important role since you will be the hero that this world needs to put an end to this battle.
The game has four different hero classes: warrior, priest, assassin, and mage, which are classified by their race: human, elves, dwarves, and orcs. Therefore you'll have to form an extremely dangerous team if you want to achieve victory.
Apart from fighting against your enemies, you'll have to complete some missions, which will let you set up your league of heroes since once you complete the missions, you'll get new heroes that you'll be able to collect, as well as the pets they use and very rare crystals, among others. In addition, the game offers the possibility of customizing and upgrading your heroes.
As for the pets, each hero has one, and you'll be able to summon it on the battlefield to help you attack and defeat your enemies. All these victories will help you advance levels and eventually help you unlock new weapons and armor or make your heroes gain unique abilities.
It is worth mentioning that to find your enemies; the game will provide you with a map on which you can explore and investigate landmarks for ambushes. The map will also show you where you have to go to find enemies and confront them.
The Good
Something interesting is that this game implements replayability; that is, you can play it over and over again, exploring the map and getting more items and experience points if you have already finished it.
The graphics are very colorful and very well-detailed, and its animations are a mix of 2D and 3D effects.
Another positive aspect, from my point of view, is that it presents a great variety of scenarios, such as a forest and a castle.
The game controls are extremely easy to use; you can move your heroes wherever you want, using your fingers when touching the screen to fight. In case you are busy, the game also has an automatic mode in battles.
The Bad
The map is often confusing for beginners just starting, and it can be difficult to find where to go to advance in the game.
