When we think of browsers for our computers, the first one that comes to mind is Google Chrome. Then others appear, such as Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, Opera, or Safari. However, the reality is that there is much other exciting software within this category. On this particular occasion, we did not want to fail to mention one of the most attractive: BriskBard Browser, from here on BriskBard.

BriskBard is an excellent alternative browser to the most famous ones on the market, with outstanding features and a performance that has nothing to envy the previous ones in terms of speed and responsiveness. In this very competitive field, it even stands out because it allows you to enjoy many integrated applications.

Operation

To give you an idea of what we are saying, first of all, you should consider that it has compatibility with different engines, including its own, Trident and Chromium, famous for being the one used by Google for Chrome. This ensures that we will not notice delays or a slower browsing speed than other browsers at any time.

We were also pleased to find an integrated e-mail client, thanks to which we can write e-mails without having to enter the official services, as well as being able to view the ones we receive. The same goes for the IRC chat client, thanks to which we can chat with other users when necessary.

Similarly, BriskBard also contains a multimedia player to listen to music and watch videos without opening another application, all of which help keep the load on the RAM as low as possible. While it is clear that this player does not have as many features as those of a specific system designed for it, it is still a helpful solution on more than one occasion.

Still not enough? This browser also has a news aggregator, RSS, and Atom, an FTP client from which we can both send and download files, and a contact book from which we can manage our agenda. As you can see, this is one of the complete browsers out there, offering a better experience than most of those most downloaded.

Unlike most browsers, this one does not have the support of any big company behind it, but it is a project developed by a Spanish programmer that has resulted in this excellent service. Many prefer it because of this particular feature that distinguishes it.

Its interface is another aspect of BriskBard that has won us over since it is as simple as it is sober and well designed in such a way that we can find the contents we are looking for in seconds without wasting time or bothering us. Wholly translated into other languages, from its upper menus, it is possible to launch the main that are common to these apps and some specific ones.

The best

What we liked most about this utility is the concept, which takes advantage of the base of some of the best browsers and then adds many attractive features that optimize the experience we can have as users. If we had to translate this into a single outstanding aspect, that would undoubtedly be the integration of players, clients, and many other sections that make our life easier.

The worst

Here we will cheat a bit because the only point against this application is that it is still not so famous, and it is expected that most of the public wants to use a browser that shares with millions of people. Beyond that, as we noted above, no other features are missing from Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or other browsers.

Rating

BriskBard is one of the first browsers you should give a chance to if you're tired of the old ones, one whose user experience won't make you miss Chrome or any other for its speed and efficiency. If we add a considerable amount of additional tools that we did not expect to find in more than one case, then we have a browser at the height of the best.
