Many times, we let ourselves be tempted by some exciting program for our computer that, when we try it, does not end up convincing us. And while we are talking about the installation of this program, a not minor detail that you have to consider is that, at least for the moment, it is not compatible with the latest version of the operating system of the people of Microsoft, Windows 10. Just as you read it, we can install and use it without problems in previous versions such as Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8, but not in Windows 10, so keep that in mind.

How about the program's interface? A straightforward one indeed, since it doesn't contribute too much from the aesthetic point of view, and it reminds quite a bit of the old versions of the Windows operating system, which speaks a bit of the year it has been on the market without updates. Beyond that, it is also true that it is intuitive, which is a crucial point in its favor.

In our experience of use, to run this application correctly, we had to disable the antivirus beforehand, so keep that in mind because it is likely that your security system will warn you about its operation. We didn't have any problems while ComboFix was working, and once it was done with its work, we turned the antivirus back on as usual.

Afterward, you will see that on its own, this application will ask you to close other processes that you may have running in the background, as many of them block and do not allow it to perform the scan correctly. This also covers Internet browsers, so it may be a good idea to let the program run overnight to ensure it won't bother you in any way.

When it finishes scanning, and after the system cleaning, this platform generates a kind of report showing the user all the work it has done so that you know which elements to remove if any. You can prevent yourself from them in the future. In addition, these reports are beneficial for understanding the small malicious programs on your computer.

At this point, you have to decide whether you want to stop and exit the system as if nothing happened or proceed to their elimination. To escape, you must press the number 2 on the keyboard, and to delete the malicious files, the number 1. As you can see, this is a complex program that not every user can run.

In our experience of use, which we have ended early because of the same risks we mentioned above, we could see that ComboFix is a stable application, which in no way closes or stops by itself. However, if we want that to happen, it is better not to use the computer in any other way while it is working.

One final piece of advice we would like to give you before you start using this program on your computer is that it could cause problems in the PC operation if you do not have enough knowledge about it. You should always put ComboFix to work under the supervision of a person who knows its scope. Otherwise, it is preferable to use it only in an emergency.
