The truth is that although ORF-Ski Challenge escapes a bit to sports games as we know them in general, we have to say that it is an equally fun proposal and, above all, very original. The first thing you'll see is that the title's graphics are above average, although later, we will dwell on them because the truth is that it is worth analyzing them in detail.

What game modes can I find in ORF-Ski Challenge? Two main ones, one of which has to do with more free training, designed in fact so that we know the moves that we have available. Once you consider that you have enough knowledge, then it will be time for you to try your luck competing against other players in the online races.

That said, you must consider that only the practice or training mode is available if you do not have an Internet connection. It would be best if you were connected to a WiFi or local network to compete with others. In the case of competitive racing, there is a leaderboard or several first, so you have to meet these challenges before you can take on the other people, which is a bit annoying.

Of course, the game is not repetitive in any case, considering that there are not only many tracks within which we can slide until we reach the base of the mountain but also the constantly changing weather conditions. If we add to this the fact that the difficulty levels are also varied and that we can decide on them at any time, then there is no doubt about how versatile this title is.

Another attractive aspect of the ORF-Ski Challenge is that you can customize the look of the skies your character wears without losing sight of the fact that you can select the style with which he/she slides. This has to do with the fact that according to the position in which the skier moves, he will be faster, more precise, or more powerful. Therefore, each user can decide what competitor he prefers for his adventures.

We also really liked being able to store information about several players within the title's database, as this allows us to have two different characters, each with their particularities, without having to give up the other one. All you have to do is create two competitors, and in a little while, you will have several options for each competition.

For the rest, you will see that the game is available only in English, which might seem like a problem but, in reality, hardly affects the experience of use, as the menus are simple and easy to intuit. There is not too much outside the two game modes we have mentioned, except for some options or settings that do not change what is observed later during the entertainment.

It is impossible not to dwell on the spectacular graphics of the ORF-Ski Challenge, which are surprising not only for how well done they are but also because they do not require the consumption of too many system resources to work. Indeed, we are in the presence of one of the light games with the best graphics we have ever seen, and this is undoubtedly one of the great features of this title.

If we had to highlight the main strong points of ORF-Ski Challenge, we would have to talk then about the fact that it has different game modes to adapt to the tastes of all users, without losing sight of the fact that we can also choose different difficulty levels according to the skills we have developed. On the other hand, we have already praised its graphics enough, so we will not continue to do so here.

Of course, ORF-Ski Challenge also has some aspects that have not convinced us, such as the fact that we can not, in any case, leave the race schedule that the system has previously stipulated. On the other hand, although we can cancel it altogether, the music accompanying our adventures can sometimes be repetitive or tiring.

In conclusion, we can say that ORF-Ski Challenge is an entertaining game, very well done in terms of graphics environments, and that generates the feeling of sliding onboard our skies. It is also completely free and can be used even on older computers, so there is no valid reason for you not to start practicing for next winter.
