Review Rise of Cultures
Thanks to Rise of Cultures, you can experience how civilizations emerged throughout history; this game represents the cultural history, not as it was, but as it could have happened.
The game is very educational since, at the beginning of the game, it puts you in charge of your civilization in pre-history, where you must forge your own empire, adapting over the centuries, whether it is the Stone Age, the Broce Age, or the Middle Ages. Discover what ancient Rome was like, the birth of the Roman Empire, and advance to the Industrial Revolution, among others.
As the absolute king of this empire, you will have to guarantee the security, productivity, and happiness of living comfortably for your people. To do this, you must create houses, cultivation farms, armament factories for your soldiers, and even barracks or cultural museums.
The game's objective is to conquer and claim new territories to ensure a more prosperous place for your people. Remember that you not only inhabit this world, but you will find friendly people willing to be part of your kingdom and others who will not agree and will have to fight to prove who is the best.
The fight is in automatic mode; that is to say, you only have to press the combat button. The one who wins the victory can claim rewards such as claiming territory, food, research points, or gems for the game.
The Good
The most remarkable thing you can notice about the game is the mind-blowing graphics. The characters in the different eras will make you feel the experience of what it would have been like to live there. While you play, the sound that accompanies you in each of these eras is very relaxing, and the colors are soft to the eye.
The game's controls are also very fluid and easy to use since, in most cases, you'll just have to press a button.
The Bad
Some objects become difficult to get, and you will not be able to advance since this type of game implements a lot of real money to acquire them, which can become a barrier in the game.
